On Sunday, 2 April, Rishi Singh of Ayodhya was named the contest’s victor. Rishi also received a car and a cash reward of Rs 25 lakh in addition to the Indian Idol 13 trophy. A Jammu native named Chirag Kotwal finished third, and a Kolkata native named Debosmita Roy earned the title of first runner-up.
Rishi Singh becomes emotional on winning
Rishi expressed his surprise at winning in a press release, saying, “I still can’t believe that I took home the Indian Idol 13 prize. It’s an odd sensation! When my name was announced as the season’s winner, it was a realisation of a lifelong goal for me. Continuing the legacy of such a prestigious and well-liked programme is an enormous honour.
“I am thankful that Indian Idol provided us with such a wonderful platform to display our talent, as well as to the channel, the judges, and the entire team. Additionally, I want to express my gratitude to all of my viewers and fans who have consistently stood by me and supported my bid for this prestigious championship. I want to thank you for making my goal come true,” he continued.
How much price money is distributed between finalists?
Sony Entertainment Television presented Rishi Singh with a check for Rs 25 lakh, and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. gave him a brand-new Brezza. Each of Debosmita and Chirag received a reward check for Rs. 5 lahks. As the third and fourth runners-up, respectively, Bidipta and Shivam each got a check for Rs 3 lakh. The six finalists also received Rs 1 lakh each in addition to specifically curated hampers.
