Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming film Selfiee’s motion poster has been revealed on Sunday. In motion poster, the actor duo can be seen in a face-off and some background music with lyrics ‘Jungle Tera Mujhe Kehta Hai Sher’ has been added. The poster also revealed the official release date of the film which is Feb 24th.
The film is produced by Karan Johar also featuring Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha in female lead roles. ‘Selfiee’ is the official Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Driving License’, in which Akshay and Emraan will reprise the roles of Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu, the lead actors of the Malayalam film.
Akshay shared the poster and wrote: “Fans make a star. Fans can also break a star! Find out what happens when a fan turns against his Idol. Watch #Selfiee in cinemas on Feb 24th (sic).”
Emraan Hasmi also posted and wrote:
The film is co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, and Sukumaran’s Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames. Film ‘Selfiee’ is set to release in theatres on February 24, 2023.
Official trailer will be out on 19th January.
