To restore your old memories from a historic movie Gadar, the makers have been re-releasing it on a big screen on June 9 for a limited time period. This blockbuster film starring Sunny Deol (Tara Singh – a Sikh truck driver from Amritsar), Ameesha Patel (Sakina – a Muslim girl from a political family in Lahore, Pakistan), and Amrish Puri (Sakina’s Father) has created a history in Indian cinema. This romantic-action drama movie, directed by Anil Sharma, showcased the situation that occurred during the Partition of India and how love suffered in the political–religious war. Originally, it was released in 2001, and after 22 years, it has been re-released in 4K edition in theatres.
