After the decision made by Virat kohli to rest the case of India’s shortest format of India cricket captaincy, it left all the cricket fans in shock.

Virat kohli stepped down from the captaincy of Indian cricket in T-20 after this T-20 world cup to be held in UAE. Now the major question is who will replace the position in the shortest cricket format.

Sunil Gawaskar, former Indian cricketer, said that KL Rahul could be an option to replace Virat kohli as the new Captain of T-20 cricket. As he is being one of the toughest players in all the formats as in IPL, T-20 and in 50s as well.

“If you are thinking of a new captain, I think KL Rahul can be looked at. His performance has been very good. Even now in England, his batting was very good. He has been performing well in IPL and 50-overs cricket as well at the international stage. I think he can be made the vice-captain,”  Gavaskar said .
