It will be India’s first boxing medal in Tokyo Olympics after getting a silver in weight lifting by Merabai chanu on the very initial day. Lovlina shattered former world champion Bien Chin Chen of China to enter into the semi finals.
Lovlina, a two time world championship bronze medalist, keep it calm and quite successfully entered the semi finals where she will be competing with world champion Busenaz of Turkey to change the colour of the medal from bronze to silver or gold.
