These tweets on Kichdi will leave you in splits.

Khichdi is a dish from the South Asia made from rice and lentils (dal), but other variations include bajra and mung dal kichri.

Yesterday, on 4th November 2017, Khichdi was declared as the Brand India Food. At an event called World Food India 2017, a team of 50 chefs under the leadership of Chef Sanjeev Kapoor created a world record by cooking 918 kg ‘khichdi’. This news has generated a lot of social media buzz.

For many people, khichdi is just a nutritious dish fed to sick people to help them convalesce quicker. But for others, it was just a way to have some fun on social media.
