In the last 22 days, the price of petrol has gone up by Rs. 9.17/litre while that of diesel has gone up by Rs. 11.14/litre. Why should a common man suffer from high fuel Price after the fall in crude oil price?

Time to speak up against what’s wrong & speak up for what’s right. In 2014 central excise duty on diesel was ₹3.50/L and ₹9.40/L on petrol. Today it is ₹31.83/L on diesel and ₹32.98/L on petrol. If we compare it is a 10-time hike to 2014 on diesel. Modi Govt. has increased central excise duty 12 times..

After reeling from a major loss during the lockdown, transporters are now hit with the daily fuel price hike. This cost has to be passed on to consumers else the transporter cannot survive. Inflation 101 for the incompetent Modi govt.

@INCKarnataka workers led by PCC President Shri @DKShivakumar & former CM, Shri @siddaramaiah protest against unnecessary hikes in fuel prices by BJP govt.
