Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma posted a series of messages on social media on Wednesday “celebrating” Women’s Day. One of these tweets has landed him in legal trouble. The tweet was:
I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives

While RGV received a backlash on Twitter for his tweet, Vishaka Mhambrey of the Ranaragini – a women’s wing of the Hindu Janajagruti group, has reportedly filed a police complaint against him in Goa.
The complainant has asked for the filmmaker’s Twitter account to be permanently blocked. Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Varma remained unperturbed by all the slamming he received for his tweets and continued to post messages in his defence.
The negative noise towards my tweet on @SunnyLeone arises from ultimate hypocrisy. She has more honesty and more self respect than any woman
