P.V. Sindhu on Sunday became the first Indian to win gold medal in Badminton World Championships by defeating Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in a lop-sided final in just 38 mins.

Now, Sindhu has all medals from World Championships – two bronze medals, two silver medals and a gold medal.

In the year 2017, Sindhu met Okuhara in a World Championships final but the gold was grabbed by Okuhara in an epic 110-minutes.

A gold medal for the country is a gold gift for mother.

The President of India, the Prime Minister of India along with other ministers and common man had congratulated P.V. Sindhu for her great achievement. It is a moment of pride for everyone.
