PV Sindhu becomes the first Indian to win the BWF World Championships

P.V. Sindhu on Sunday became the first Indian to win gold medal in Badminton World Championships by defeating Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in a lop-sided final in just 38 mins.

Now, Sindhu has all medals from World Championships – two bronze medals, two silver medals and a gold medal.

In the year 2017, Sindhu met Okuhara in a World Championships final but the gold was grabbed by Okuhara in an epic 110-minutes.

A gold medal for the country is a gold gift for mother.

The President of India, the Prime Minister of India along with other ministers and common man had congratulated P.V. Sindhu for her great achievement. It is a moment of pride for everyone.
