PM Modi’s Lakshadweep visit: Goes for Snorkelling, Shares Stunning Photos

Prime Minister Narendra Modi traveled to Lakshadweep on January 2 and 3 to officially launch a number of development initiatives like the Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands Submarine Optical Fiber Connection and many more.

“Recently, I had the opportunity to be among the people of Lakshadweep. I am still in awe of the stunning beauty of its islands and the incredible warmth of its people. I had the opportunity to interact with people in Agatti, Bangaram and Kavaratti. I thank the people of the islands for their hospitality. Here are some glimpses, including aerial glimpses from Lakshadweep,” wrote PM Modi while sharing a few pics on X.

While on work, he took out some time from his hectic schedule and explored the islands. He walked on white sand and took rest on beaches. He shared some pictures from his Lakshadweep tour on Twitter where he was seen going for morning walks on the sparkling beaches and also trying snorkelling.

As soon as PM Modi shared these pictures, the online search in India related to Lakshadweep tour increased as per the Google Trends. It displayed the inclination of people’s interest towards local beach destination as compare to Maldives, a favorite beach spot for Indian Tourist.
