New Zealand hit by Earthquake 7.0 Magnitude, No Tsunami Alert

Earthquake of magnitude 7.2 hit New Zealand at 6:11 Am IST on 24/04/2023. The centre point of earthquake was Kermadec island region. There were rumors of Tsumani threat in New Zealand.


But New Zealand’s National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has cleared that there is no Tsumani threat based on the current information and assessment.

National center of seismology told that the depth of earthquake was 10km the center of earthquake was Kermadec Island region.
