If one player doesn’t seem to grow old among all Indian sports persons, it is Leander Paes. Born in 1973, leander became a pro in 1991 and has hardly looked back. he is considered on of the best doubles player. Children have grown up seeing him leading India to victory in so many Davis cup matches against formidable rivals. Leander won the US Open Mixed Doubles with Martina Hingis, following the pairs triumph at the French Open.

Its amazing how a 43 year old can win 3 Gland slams in one year. This pair of Hingis and Leander have done just that. Leander has once stated to the Statesman Newspaper that He has the Guts to go after his Targets and thats what makes him successful. The pair have become the 1st mixed doubles pair since 1969 to win three major titles in same year.
And how legends support each other..
@mhingis @Leander keep it going you guys– bring home another “Slam”!!!!! I’ll be watching.
