She won the gold in the Women’s Physique and Women’s Fitness categories in the IBBFF Miss India, 2016 edition, which is a combination of a pageant and a spectator sport. She also won the Gladrags Mrs India Best Body Award in 2005, she was the first runner-up in Fit Factor 2015, and she was the first woman who opened a gym in Gurgaon.

“I believe that normal is boring. I have chosen a profession where I have stepped into a so-called man’s domain.”

The 37-year-old was not always this fit. When she was in seventh grade, she was diagnosed with typhoid fairly late, as a result of which she had to be given steroids, which resulted in severe acne, hair loss, and weight gain. She even followed Jane Fonda’s fitness videos to get in shape.
