First poster of ‘Sachin’ pays respect to the ‘God of Cricket’

It is raining biopics in the film industry! And the world of cricket features prominently in the list. ‘Azhar,’ ‘MS Dhoni’ and finally, the biopic on the God of cricket himself! The first poster of ‘Sachin’ was retweeted by the Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar, himself on Twitter.


What’s it called?
The biopic on SRT will be titled ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’.

What’s it about?
The film will capture his cricket and personal life in great detail and the highest run-scorer in the history of the game will also chip in with his inputs for the film which will be released in 200 theatres across the world. Apart from following the phenomenal rise of Sachin, the film will also reveal a few never-seen-before aspects of his life.

Will Sachin be apart of it?
We can officially announce that Sachin will indeed be a part of his biopic.

Who’s making it?
Mumbai-based production company 200 Not Out will be making the film. The company has bagged the rights to make the film from World Sports Group (WSG). London-based award-winning writer, director and producer, James Erskine has been roped in to direct the film.The production company is also in touch with cricket boards across the world to access video footage from the past which will be slotted into the movie.

The first teaser poster has been unveiled by Sachin himself and the teaser too will be unveiled on April 14.

Reactions to the poster is overwhelming and we just can’t for the trailer now.
