Doris Roberts, best known for her role on Everybody Loves Raymond, has died at the age of 90.
The US actress, who won four Emmy Awards for playing meddling mother Marie Barone on the show, passed away in her sleep, a family spokesperson has confirmed.
Show producer Phil Rosenthal paid tribute to the actress on Twitter following the news, writing:
