CBSE 10th and12th Result Out, Girls Outshine Boys


The Central Board Of Secondary Education(CBSE) announced the result of Class 10th and 12th on the 12th of May. Students can check their scores at the official websites – cbse.gov.in, results.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, umang.gov.in by entering their name and roll number.

The overall pass percentage of Class 12th is 87.33% which is comparatively lesser than last year but the performance has been improved than the pre-pandemic year,2019 which was 83.40 percent. 

Like last year, this year too, Trivandrum has emerged as the best district with 99.91 percent, followed by Bengaluru at 98.64 percent and Chennai at 97.40 percent. Delhi West is in fourth position with 93.24 percent.

The board exams for CBSE Class 10th started on February 14 and concluded on March 21. A total of 21,86,485 class 10th  students had registered for the exams.

Around 16.9 lakh students appeared for the CBSE 12th exam this year, which was conducted from February 15 to April 5, 2023.
