Ayodhya Ram Mandir inaugrated; Pran Prathistha Ceremony on January 22

The day has finally arrived for Shri Ram to arrive in Ayodhya, the city of his birth. The Ram Temple in Ayodhya was inaugurated on January 22 with the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla between 12:20 to 12:40 PM.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced on Sunday that a magnificent musical performance called “Mangal Dhwani” will enhance the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Ayodhya was hosting the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Mangal Dhvani, where more than fifty mesmerizing musical instruments from different states, was being performed.

Ayodhya decked out in lights for the Ram Temple’s ‘Pran Pratishtha’ on Monday. The lights feature enormous cutouts of Lord Ram and posters with religious phrases related to Lord Ram. The festive and joyous ambiance is further enhanced by the rangoli and flower decorations on the Ram temple itself.

This historic ‘Pran Pratistha’ ritual for Ram Lalla will take place in the presence of saints, prominent guests, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The esteemed guests came from a variety of backgrounds, including politics, cricket, movies, literature, art, and other disciplines.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the Ram Lalla idol at the Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple in Ayodhya.

After the Pran prathishta ceremony, Modiji said, “Ram Lalla will no longer to stay in a tent.” Additionally, he declared, “January 22, 2024, marks the start of a new era—it’s more than just a date. The building of Ram Mandir has given people a fresh lease on life.”

One week prior to the main ceremony, on January 16, the Vedic rituals for Ram Lalla’s “Pran Pratishtha” in Ayodhya began, signifying the importance and intricate preparations for the occasion.
