Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha and Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra maintained the secrecy of their relationship for a long time but finally, they confirmed their relationship officially by exchanging engagement rings at Kapurthala House in New Delhi on May 13th, 2023.
The couple looks adorable on their engagement day. While Parineeti Chopra was dressed in an elegant soft-pink tissue silk kurta coupled with a Kashmiri thread work dupatta from designer Manish Malhotra’s shelves, Raghav Chadha was dressed in an ivory-colored pure khadi silk achkan paired with ivory pants along with matching kurta from the store of designer Pawan Sachdeva. The engagement rings too were gorgeous. Parineeti wore a cushion-shaped diamond solitaire and Raghav wore a classic Cartier band.
It was a personal yet grand affair with an ivory theme engagement cake, a lovely white flowers with green foliage party décor, and white lights on white backdrop.
Numerous public figures attended the event. Cousin Priyanka Chopra, designer Manish Malhotra and politicians including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, former finance minister P Chidambaram and Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray among others were in the guests list.
Parineeti and Raghav danced to Gal Mitthi Mitthi song and enjoyed the moment.
Mika shared the video to his Instagram and congratulate the couple. “Bohat sona munda bohat piyaari kudi. Many many congratulation to bro Raghav and dear Parineeti,” he captioned the video.
After the engagement, the couple gave ‘first public appearance’ to the paps and their family members distributed sweets to the media personnel outside the Kapurthala house. .
Parineeti also shared some pictures with an official announcement. “Everything I prayed for .. I said yes!” she wrote.
Her mother also called herself ‘truly blessed’.
