Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha has proposed Bharat Ratna for Dera Sacha Sauda chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
During a press meet in Hisar on Thursday, Dharampal Sichav, Head, Hindu Mahasabha shared, “Dera chief has done several things for the welfare of the society and has launched several social campaigns. He has also rehabilitated a lot of sex workers, which is commendable. We will meet our national head and will put forward this proposal.”
Defending all the allegations on Baba Ram Rahim, Dharampal stated, “Today, every person is blamed for one or the other thing. But that doesn’t mean they are not honoured. Even our ministers and MLAs are blamed for so many things but they are all allegations. Baba Ram Rahim Singh should be honoured for his social work.”
