Gauri Khan’s new and vibrant collection for Satya Paul, Cocktails and Dreams, was launched yesterday in the Capital. The new line of sarees, inspired by the most iconic drinks, commemorates 30 years of Satya Paul in the Indian fashion industry.

The last leg in a total of three collections that Gauri Khan designed for Satya Paul, includes separate casual and occasional wear–sheer tunics, dresses and fluid sarees.

Satya Paul had organised a meet and greet with Gauri Khan to promote the launch, which took place amidst at DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj.

Khan talked about her affinity and comfort with sarees at the event: “Be it a movie premiere or an event, I personally prefer wearing a lot of sarees. For me they are very comfortable; I can carry them off; they are very feminine. I am designing sarees for Satya Paul, and as a designer I feel I should promote sarees.”

She also said her husband and children have always supported her in her fashion endeavours.
