In an interview with Manu Bhaker, journalist Rohan Dua asked multiple uncomfortable questions making the spectators and journalists as uncomfortable as he made Manu. Rohan Dua has successfully created a new sport, it is called who asks the most absurd question.
During this interview for digital portal “The New India”, the journalist Rohan Dua was unable to resist pursuing Bhaker with insignificant and embarrassing questions insinuating her connection with a fellow athlete, Neeraj Chopra.
Furthermore, Dua also gave a title of “one of the most attractive females, beautiful females in India’s history of Olympics” although not sure if Bhaker took it “as a compliment.”
After questions about her nearly missing the second spot to South Korea’s Kim Ye-Ji Dua said: “Your photos went viral with that of Neeraj, I am not sure if you look at it as a compliment, but of course you are one of the most attractive females, beautiful females in India’s history of Olympics. Was there some sort of chemistry or would you like to snub it as some sort of moment that someone clicked?”

The unprofessionalism attitude of Rohan Dua enraged audience. He did not stop here. The whole interview he kept on asking irrelevant questions including personal lives. Winning medals is not enough for female athletes. This incident screams how female athletes face discrimination in day to day life, even after winning, it is never enough. Even after proving themselves there will always be people like him who will keep underestimating women.
