The film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ will be released on July 28, 2023. The trailer for the upcoming movie has been released today.

It’s a film by Karan Johar in his 25th anniversary year starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. Shabana Azmi is cast as Alia Bhatt’s mother, while Jaya Bachchan as Ranveer Singh’s mother. Rocky (Ranveer Singh) is an illiterate man with a loving personality while Rani (Alia Bhatt) is an educated woman.
The trailer begins with a fight scene between Rani Chatterjee and Rocky Randhawa. Further, the trailer reveals that Rani is looking out for Rocky to which he passes a comical comment. Later, both like each other company and spend good time together. Though poles apart, the duo find themselves compatible to each other but the problem lies with their families and their cultural values. So, they decided to switch families to understand them. Rani (Alia) belongs to a Bengali family and lives with the Randhawas (Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Aamir Bashir, Kshitee Jog and Anjali Anand) and Rocky from a Punjabi background lives with the Chatterjees (Shabana Azmi, Namit Das, Tota Roy Choudhury and Churni Ganguly). Post-switch, their families are not able to understand what both of them see in each other. Thus, it’s a family movie that contains humorous elements with enormous emotions – love, anger, sadness, compassion, comfort, glamour, drama, happiness, concern and many more.
