Born on 24 December 1997 in Khandra village,Haryana; Neeraj Chopra has become one of the top sports sensations of India. He is an outstanding Indian track and field athlete who specialises in javelin throw. He first caught the eye of the public in 2016, when he won a gold medal. It was at Poland at the IAAF World U20 Championships. Neeraj set a world junior record with an 86.48-meter throw in Poland, thus he got recognised.
