The incident mentioned occurred on May 4th; however, the video of the event was only recently made public on 19th July, causing widespread shock and outrage throughout the country.

The Indian government has directed Twitter and other social media platforms to take down the distressing video showcasing two women being paraded naked in Manipur, which surfaced online just recently. The government has emphasized the significance of social media platforms following Indian laws, particularly since the matter remains under investigation.
The video that has been circulating widely shows not only the two women being paraded naked, but also men constantly molesting them.
