Karnataka Elections 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to a poll-bound state

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Karnataka today to address three mega public meetings and a massive road show in Karnataka.  This is Modi ji’s ninth visit to Karnataka (the poll-bound state) where Assembly elections are due on May 10.

He is on a two-day visit to the state to address six public meetings and two road shows. On Saturday, he will address public meetings at Humnabad in Bidar district, Vijayapura, Kudachi and Bengaluru North. On Sunday, rallies have been scheduled in Kolar, Channapattna and Belur.

“I received Bidar’s blessing earlier also. This election is not just for winning, it is an election to make Karnataka the number 1 state in the country. The state can only develop when its all parts are developed. This election will decide the role of the state and to make it number 1, double engine govt is very important for the state,’ PM Modi said in a meeting at Humnabad in Bidar District.

During his speech in Karnataka, PM Narendra Modi commented on Congress and said that Congress has abused him 91 times and he will consider these as gifts and continue working for the people of Karnataka.

People of Karnataka welcomed PM Narendra Modi Ji whole heartedly and addressed him as ‘The Catalyst for India’s Strength’, ‘The true architect of modern India’, ‘The beacon of India’s strength and security’, ‘The visionary’ etc..

Later in the evening, PM Modi would fly to Bengaluru to hold a massive road show in Bengaluru North.

The Bengaluru police have issued Traffic Advisory and requested commuters to avoid certain routes. Several roads will be shut due to PM Modi’s roadshow today from 2 -7:30 PM, 29th April 2023.
