Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared Class 12th result on May 13, 2024. Continuing the trends from past years, girls outshined boys by 6.40%. Some student of class 12th celebrates their achievement, while on the other hand, some students feel insecure about their careers after seeing results.
This year, the exam was held from Feb 15 2024, to Apr 15, 2024 between10:30 AM to 1:30 PM each day. Approximately, 1633730 students registered for the exam, out of which 1621224 students appeared for the exam, and 1426420 passed the exam. The overall passing percentage of students is 87.9%; in 2024, the passing rate is raised by 0.65% as per last year. The passing percentage of girls is 91.52 %, while for boys, it is 85.12%.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) hasn’t yet declared the merit list on its official website to prevent unhealthy competition among students. The highest passing percentage is from Trivandrum, and the lowest is from Prayagraj. Institutional-wise, the highest passing percentage was from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, which was 98. 90%.
Those Students who perform well in exams have to remember that a single seat of paper doesn’t decide anyone’s future. During the exam phase, every student has a different journey and career path, which may be successful or disappointing. One thing that is certainly a start for the youth of the country to begin their new chapter of life is based on the class 12th result.
