In a recent seminar organized by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum in Washington DC, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan compared the roads in Madhya Pradesh with the ones in Washington, USA. He said that the roads in Madhya Pradesh were better than the ones in Washington.
“When I got down at Washington Airport and traveled on the road, I felt the roads in Madhya Pradesh are better than the United States… I am saying this not just for the sake of saying.”, said Chauhan in a business roundtable organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry and US-India Strategic Partnership Forum in the US.
This statement of his has created a lot of social media buzz and left the Twittertaies ROFLing.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan also added that his government has connected villages in the states by constructing a 1.75 lakh kilometers of roads.
