Actor Ben Affleck has been criticised by fans for a rant on Bill Simmons’s HBO chat show “Any Given Wednesday”.
During an interview on the debut episode of Any Given Wednesday, the Affleck passionately criticized the NFL and Goodell for suspending New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for using under-inflated footballs during a 2015 playoff game.
The Oscar winner Ben Affleck stands by his expletive-filled rantand says on Twitter :
(1/2) For those of you keeping score at home, I gave exactly 18 f*cks about my Pats. Upon reflection, 12 probably would have been sufficient

(2/2) We Boston fans have always been known for our subtlety. One of my favorite interviews; hope you get to see the entire episode. #GoPats

Any Given Wednesday host Bill Simmons also defended the actor and filmmaker.
BTW – we taped AGW in the late-AM, Ben got fired up about DeflateGate during the convo, that’s it.

Reactions:
I know why #BenAffleck is so angry. He’s been stuck on the #JusticeLeague set working with Zack Snyder. That would make anyone crazy. Right?

I’d be shocked if #BenAffleck was drunk while dropping F-bombs talking football. Guys never get drunk, curse, and talk football.
