Pele, the King of Football aka Black Pearl visited India. In a press interview, the former football superstar said that he will choose Messi over Ronaldo to play for his team anytime. The questions were replied by the superstar at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. The summit also witnessed the presence of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, the former Indian Football team captain Baichung Bhutia and many more.
The god of football replied to many questions, some were asked by the fans, some by media channels. The summit also gave the opportunity to former Indian football team captain, Baichung Butia to ask questions to Pele. It was during one such question asked by the former captain to which Pele replied, “Ronaldo and Messi are different types of players, one can’t compare them. Ronaldo is a center forward player and Messi is a more organized player. I will choose Messi over Ronaldo to play for my team”.
The question that who is a better player among Messi or Ronaldo has been bugging us all from a long time, at least we got to know what the legend thinks.
He first won the FIFA World Cup title with the Brazilian national team as a teenager in the year 1958 and went on to defend the world title with the Selecao in the year 1962. He capped off his outstanding international career with his third World Cup trophy in 1970.
